About This Project¶
Purpose¶
This archive exists to gather and preserve the history of Monkton before records, photographs, and living memory are lost. It draws on:
Official records
Local newspaper archives
Oral history interviews with residents and former residents
Personal photographs, letters, and documents contributed by families
This is a not-for-profit endeavour for the benefit of all and the believed consent of all those involved.
